Wellness Coaching introduces students to the principles, practices, and professional applications of wellness coaching, with a focus on its integration into manual therapy, health care, and fitness environments. Hours of lectures, labs, readings, and case-based discussions, students will develop the skills necessary to support clients in achieving sustainable health and wellness goals.

This course explores the history and foundations of wellness coaching, emphasizing the creation of effective coaching relationships, communication strategies, and goal-oriented planning. Students will examine coaching models, frameworks for behavior change, emotional intelligence, and ethical considerations in practice. Key themes include the power of listening and questioning, direct communication, client awareness, action planning, and strategies for sustaining long-term progress.
